I love corvairs.  I have my own in the garage.  I based this fabric on family cars and friends cars.
 
As a kid we rode around in a red lakewood with a white roof.  The first corvair my kid rode in when she was 10 days old was the white one on this print.  My brother owned it for a while and then sold it back to a friend.  My brother also owns the blue lakewood.
